Celebrations will start wrapping up from about 11.30pm, with a midnight finish. But don't worry - the show isn't over - we'll see everyone again soon for the encore!

Location

The National Arboretum Canberra is a 250-hectare living collection of rare, endangered and symbolic trees from around the world, set across rolling hills with sweeping views over the city - home to over 44,000 trees across 100+ forests.

Address: Forest Drive, Molonglo Valley ACT 2611.

Ceremony: Margaret Whitlam Pavilion - follow the main drive up from the Forest Drive entrance; on-site parking is available right by the Pavilion.

Reception: Village Centre, National Arboretum - just a short walk from the Pavilion.

Dress Code

Dress to impress! Formal dress code with bright and bold colours and patterns encouraged - think block colours, prints, ruffles, feathers, and sequins.

Women: Mid to floor length dresses.

Men: Suit with jacket (ties optional - but this could be a fun way to incorporate the bright and bold theme into your outfit).

Gifts

As they say, your presence is a present. However, if you would like to gift some material love, we would be grateful to receive a contribution to our honeymoon fund.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 20 December.

Where do I go for the ceremony?

The ceremony is at Margaret Whitlam Pavilion - a bit further down from the main entrance to the Arboretum. There is a separate carpark and drop-off space close to the Pavilion so you don't have to trek through the main Centre.

Plus ones? Are my children invited?

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, the number of guests included in your invitation is reflected in the ticket stubs that came with your Save the Date and our RSVP system will automatically show the guests included. If a plus one or children are invited, they will appear on your RSVP.

We hope you understand that we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

How do I get to and from the venue?

The National Arboretum is about 10 minutes' drive from the Canberra CBD, with on-site parking available if you wish to drive. Otherwise, Uber or taxi will be the best way to get to and from the venue.

The ceremony and reception are all at the same location, so only a trip to and from the venue will be required!

What happens if it rains?

Our ceremony and reception are both indoors so no need to stress! Nicola will be getting an Etsy witch to cast a good weather spell, but if it does end up raining you may just want to bring an umbrella for the short walk between the ceremony space and the reception.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements or allergies?

Of course - just let us know via the dietary requirements field on the RSVP form and we'll take care of the rest.
